How to Get Verified as a Broker on QuietOffer

Step by Step Guide for Broker Verification on QuietOffer

Updated over 5 months ago

Everything you need to activate your broker dashboard and start listing properties

QuietOffer is a private, invite-only commercial real estate marketplace. To maintain quality and integrity across the platform, we require all brokers to complete a short verification process before they can list properties or receive buyer access requests.

This article outlines what’s required, how long the process takes, and what you can expect after being verified.

Why Verification Matters

QuietOffer is designed for off-market commercial listings, where confidentiality, credibility, and trust are paramount. We verify brokers to:

  • Ensure you are an actual licensed commercial real estate professional

  • Maintain listing quality and accuracy

  • Prevent spam, fake inventory, and unqualified actors

  • Protect serious buyers and sellers transacting through our platform

Verification also unlocks your broker dashboard and slug page, where you’ll manage your listings and showcase your private marketplace.

Who Needs to Get Verified?

All users who intend to:

  • Add commercial property listings

  • Represent property owners on their behalf

  • Manage access requests from buyers

  • Maintain a QuietOffer slug page (e.g. quietoffer.io/marketplace/yourbrokerage)

must first complete the broker verification process. This applies to both solo agents and teams.

The Verification Process

Verification typically takes 1 business day. In some cases, we may reach out for additional information if your materials are incomplete or unclear.

Step 1 — Create Your QuietOffer Account

Go to quietoffer.io/login and select the Broker option.

Fill out your contact details, including:

  • Name

  • Work email

  • Mobile number

  • Company name

  • Brokerage website (if applicable)

You’ll also be prompted to create a password and confirm your email address.

Step 2 — Complete the Broker Profile Form

Once logged in, you’ll be directed to the Broker Profile onboarding form. Here, you’ll provide:

  • Your active real estate license number

  • State or region of licensure

  • Link QuietOffer to your Linkedin through QuietOffer + Linkedin API connection

  • A link to your company website, LinkedIn, or brokerage profile page

  • Optional: A description of your focus (e.g. “I work with net lease retail throughout the Midwest”)

All information is reviewed manually. We prioritize brokers with a public presence and professional activity in the commercial real estate space.

Step 3 — QuietOffer Review

Our team will verify the submitted information. This includes:

  • Confirming your license status (public license lookup when available)

  • Checking your affiliation with the listed company

  • Reviewing your public presence (LinkedIn, CRE platforms, brokerage bio, etc.)

If we cannot confirm your affiliation or credentials, we may request additional documentation such as:

  • A photo of your license

  • Proof of affiliation (e.g., email from a company domain)

  • Website link to a team page listing your name

What Happens After You’re Verified?

Once approved, your account is upgraded to Broker status, which includes:

  • Full access to the broker dashboard

  • Ability to create and submit listings for review

  • Control over access requests from buyers

  • A public slug page (e.g. quietoffer.io/marketplace/yourbrokerage)

  • Performance tracking on each listing

  • Intercom support and notifications for all listing activity

You’ll receive an email notification once your verification is approved.

What If I’m Listing on Behalf of an Owner?

QuietOffer allows brokers to list on behalf of property owners as long as:

  • You check the box confirming authorization during listing creation

  • You are able to provide documentation upon request (e.g., listing agreement, signed marketing rights, or email confirmation from the owner)

We do not require documentation upfront, but you are responsible for the accuracy of your listing and your right to represent the asset.

QuietOffer may remove any listing or suspend an account if we find evidence of unauthorized marketing.

Can I Represent Multiple Listings or Owners?

Yes. Once verified, you can represent any number of owners or portfolios. Many brokers use QuietOffer to list:

  • Properties under exclusive agreements

  • Discrete opportunities that are not on public platforms

  • Specialty assets that require more targeted buyer pools

If your subscription includes multiple active listings, you can rotate or update listings through your dashboard as needed.

Common Reasons for Rejection

QuietOffer’s verification process is strict by design. You may be rejected if:

  • You cannot prove licensure or a brokerage affiliation

  • Your LinkedIn or company website doesn’t match your signup information

  • You attempt to post without clear authorization to market the property

  • You submit false or misleading information

Rejected accounts are not permanently banned. You can update your profile and reapply for verification.

If you’re unsure about your verification status or want to check on your application, use the Intercom chat or email us at [email protected]. A team member will respond within 1 business day.

Summary

Broker verification is the first and most important step to gaining access to QuietOffer’s private listing infrastructure. It ensures credibility on both sides of the marketplace and preserves the trust required for serious transactions.

Once verified, you’re empowered to list discreetly, control who sees your deals, and build your own institutional buyer pipeline — all from a single dashboard.
